[JEONBUK’s economy]
JEONBUK has various industrial structures, centered on large enterprises, medium-sized enterprises
and SMEs(small and medium-sized enterprises)
Large and medium-sized enterprises are leading the global market,
exporting with copper foil, pesticides, agricultural machinery, polycarbonate,
and vehicles for the transport of goods.
Particularly, JEONBUK, which leads the export of "Copper foil," key material
for electric vehicle battery, accounts for 58.4% of Korea's copper foil exports.
In addition, JEONBUK is leading the Korean agricultural machinery industry,
accounting for 39.6% of Korea's exports in the agricultural machinery sector.
SMEs(small and medium-sized enterprises) are leading the JEONBUK economy,
focusing on semiconductor devices, pet food, automobile parts, and jewelry,
and the cosmetics and food sectors are also continuing to grow.

JEONBUK has long been a representative place where culture and traditions live and breathe.
The main attractions include Hanok Village, which retains the appearance of the old city center,
Chunhyangje Festival, where Namwon's story lives and breathes, Jeonju World Sound Festival,
centered on the DO GUGAK CENTER Byeokgol Cultural Festival, which embraces Gimje's horizon,
and Jeonju International Film Festival, a festival for filmmakers around the world.
In addition, traditional food and local food are famous in Korea especially
for Korean food such as bibimbap, bulgogi, bean sprout soup, and rice wine.
It has been more enjoyable as they are reinterpreted in modern way.
JEONBUK has many cultural properties in the province because of
the combination of geographically wide western plains and alpine mountains
in the eastern mountainous region, and JEONBUK's unique tourist attractions
are scattered everywhere. Especially, many relics are distributed
in the suburbs of
14 cities and districts, including Jeonju, Wanju, Iksan, and Gunsan, and are famous for
their scenic spots, old temples, hiking courses, natural monuments, fishing grounds, relics,
ski resorts, valleys and waterfalls, beaches, strange rocks, and gliding plants.
